Abigail Adams Historical Society

Museum

Quincy's historical society and museum, which holds extensive collections related to the Adams family, Quincy granite quarrying, and the town's Revolutionary history. The nearby Quincy Homestead (circa 1686) is one of the oldest surviving structures in the region and was home to Abigail Adams's grandmother. The museum contextualizes how a small farming and quarrying community produced two presidents and a diplomatic dynasty.
