Parker's Revenge Site
Battlefield
The site along the Battle Road in Lincoln where Captain John Parker's Lexington company — nearly destroyed in the morning — ambushed the retreating British column in the afternoon of April 19, 1775. Parker had reorganized his battered men and marched them to intercept the British route. The ambush, while not decisive, was Parker's act of retribution for the morning killing of his men on Lexington Green. An NPS wayside marker interprets the site.
