Landmark
The agricultural landscape around Lebanon sustained the Trumbull family's commercial and political operations. Governor Trumbull's store and warehouses in the town center were used to collect and distribute war materiel. Connecticut contributed more men and supplies proportionally than any other colony, and Lebanon was the administrative center of that effort.
