Monument
A monument at the Hubbardton Battlefield commemorating Colonel Seth Warner and the men of the Green Mountain Boys who fought the rear-guard action on July 7, 1777. Warner was one of Vermont's most important Revolutionary military figures — he had been among the Green Mountain Boys who captured Fort Ticonderoga with Ethan Allen in 1775 and now commanded the rear guard as Ticonderoga was evacuated two years later.
