Exeter Raises and Supplies Continental Regiments

Throughout 1775–1782, Exeter's Committee of Safety coordinated the recruitment, provisioning, and payment of New Hampshire's Continental Army regiments. The town served as the administrative hub where enlistment bounties were authorized, military commissions were issued, and supply contracts were managed.
